Research Integrity
AJEN Academic Publishers believes that research integrity is fundamental to trustworthy scholarly communication. We expect all research published through AJEN journals to be conducted, reported, and communicated honestly, transparently, and responsibly.
Authors must accurately represent their research methods, data, results, analysis, and conclusions. Research must not involve fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, inappropriate manipulation of data or images, duplicate publication, or misleading reporting. Authors are also responsible for appropriately acknowledging the contributions of others and disclosing relevant conflicts of interest.
Research involving human participants, animals, personal information, or other ethically sensitive subjects must comply with applicable laws, institutional requirements, and recognized ethical standards.
Where ethical approval is required, authors should provide appropriate details of the approving institution or ethics committee. Where applicable, informed consent and appropriate measures to protect privacy and confidentiality should also be addressed.
AJEN encourages transparency in research reporting and, where appropriate, authors are encouraged to provide information about data availability, research methods, supporting materials, datasets, software, or other resources necessary to understand or reproduce their work.
Concerns regarding possible research or publication misconduct may be raised by authors, reviewers, editors, readers, institutions, or other appropriate parties. AJEN will assess credible concerns and may request supporting information or clarification. Where necessary, we may work with relevant institutions or organizations to address serious integrity concerns.
If evidence demonstrates that the reliability of a published article has been materially affected, AJEN may take appropriate action, including issuing a correction, expression of concern, or retraction.
